The tech-rich man tagged Iger since Disney briefly suspended promotion on X due to Musk's bigoted post.
Elon Musk called for the termination of Weave Iger on Thursday and launched his attacks on the Disney boss over the entertainment organization's decision to briefly suspend posting on X, formerly Twitter, over the ultra-rich person's racist post.
Last month, Musk appeared to endorse a post in which he said Jews "promote a specific kind of rationalistic contempt against whites that they warrant they believe individuals should stop using against them."
Musk responded to the post by saying, "You spoke the real truth."
Musk has since apologized and walked back that explanation that prompted the release of the anti-X blacklist, saying it was "one of the stupidest, if not the most absurd" comments he made on stage during an appearance at DealBook Highest The New York Times. point. In any case, during a similar meeting, he proceeded to reach out to the organizations that had made the move to his post, saying that their activities could "kill the organization" before selecting the Disney president.
“Suppose someone tries to push me into a promotion, extort cash from me, go for it,” Musk said. "Go. Fuck. Yourself."
Plus, it seems he wasn't done taking it out on Iger.
In another post Thursday, Musk went after Iger over Disney's promotional relationship with Meta, citing a CNBC report about a lawsuit filed by New Mexico's chief legal officer against Facebook and Instagram, accusing the organizations of promoting teen sex abuse.
"Bounce Eiger believes it's cool to promote material close to child abuse," Musk wrote, misspelling Iger's last name. "A true stand up."
Almost an hour later, he demanded Iger's suspension on another post.
"He should be terminated immediately. Walt Disney is turning in his grave over the way Bounce has treated his organization," added Musk.
Iger has not commented on Musk's contributions until this point.
During a meeting at the high point of DealBook, Iger understood that a brief withdrawal of the promotion from X was being considered.
"We recognize that Elon is amazing in many ways, and that his name is especially associated with the organizations he founded or owns," Iger said. “By him publicly taking the position that he did, we felt that affiliation was really not good for us.
In addition to Disney, other major organizations including Apple, IBM, Lionsgate and Vital Worldwide have pulled ads from X in light of Musk's post.
The New York Times reported that X is expected to lose nearly $75 million in advertising revenue before the end of this month, citing internal records.
It's not always when Musk first moved to analyzing arguments for his organization.
Last month, he sued the watchdog group Media Matters for America after the charity's unmasked ads for major brands appeared near X posts apologizing for Nazism.
